Congress hall

The congress centre of the Jehovah’s Witnesses is located in Swifterbant. The existing congress centre will be extended with a congress hall. This hall will provide enough space for visitors from all over the country, as there will be room for some 3,400 adherents. Kampstaal was commissioned by the Jehovah’s Witnesses Congress Hall Foundation to supply the steel roof and wall cladding.

Beijer Constructie had previously made the beautiful dome of the mosque in Leiden. Now, for the Jehovah’s Witnesses religious community, Kampstaal has executed this 235-ton steel construction. Staalbouw Nauta lent a very useful helping hand in the assembly. The finishing touch, in the form of the roof and wall cladding, was provided by Kamplacon. The new hall measures 73 x 65 metres, is eleven metres high and consists of four parts: the entrance hall, the main hall, backstage and the covered walkway.

We believe in what we promise. And then we do what we promise. We also believe in good cooperation. Which has long been evident in our work with the other companies in our group. This time we again experienced the pleasure of working with Kampstaal and Staalbouw Nauta. And, of course, we benefited from the understanding that comes from the excellent relationship with our client. In addition to a new congress hall, the construction process also produced a wealth of beautiful photos!
